Show Notes:

  1. There is truly value and importance in training and learning the fundamentals.

  2. I loved her ground rules for her students when she teaches. Don’t compare yourself to other people and Don’t beat yourself up!!

  3. Critique our work without critiquing ourself.

  4. Allow grace for mistakes.

  5. Hire to your weaknesses. It’s rare that any one person is great at everything so it’s ok to let other people in.

  6. If you teach a class or maybe an employee it’s important to teach from a place of empathy.

  7. Remember we don’t design in a vacuum, it’s a reflection of who we are.
