  • Martha Stewart was instrumental in presenting inspiration through her publications and now we have the influence of Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

  • Influenced by travel and not social media, Mindy discusses her preference for clients to gain inspiration through their tastes, personality, venue choice etc. and not rely so heavily on the social media influence and trends.

  • Connecting with her clients and that relationship is her favorite part of business. Establishing a relationship with your client builds trust and gives you freedom to make quick changes if necessary.

  • Mindy shares how she incorporates the local culture or landscape into her events. If foraging local products, do so responsibly but not fully rely and overdo with materials.

  • Family is always first. Mindy truly believes her first calling is a mom. Sharing from her heart, Mindy discusses scheduling events around the family calendar, working with her husband, and the importance of prioritizing family.
