Chloe Jones

Growing up on a farm in rural Australia, Chloe knows the soil of the earth and the hard work that accompanies making any dream a reality. Her infectious laughter, can-do attitude, and experience in both hospitality and administration make her an asset to this team. Her handiwork not only includes stunning floral arrangements but the systems that get flowers seamlessly from our studio to your door.

You are in for a treat with double the fun! The dynamic duo from Primary Petals are my guests this week on The Flower Podcast.  CEO Carly Williams and COO Chloe Jenkins have been working tirelessly to create hundreds of show stopping, custom designs for weddings and private events as well as partnering with brands such as Variety Magazine, Maybelline, Vanity Fair, Moroccan Oil, Nespresso, and more!

Primary Petals

Primary Petals was founded in 2010 on the Los Angeles scene with a fearless use of color variants. The Primary Petals Squad has been working tirelessly ever since to create hundreds of showstopping, custom designs for weddings and private event orders as well as partnering with brands such as Variety Magazine, Maybelline, Vanity Fair, Moroccan Oil, Nespresso, and more!

The development of this brand has sparked an interest in bringing these beautiful blooms direct from the Primary Petals Studio to your doorstep for everyday enjoyment. So, it is with great pleasure we introduce our new labor of love, Primary Petals Direct: a flower service that delivers bundles of joy and fresh flowers straight to your porch.

Show Notes

  1. Sometimes it’s great to take a step back and acknowledge the importance of perspective. Gaining perspective can help you manage your feelings during difficult times.

  2. When taking the show on the road, tap into the local floral community for sourcing and freelance help.

  3. Be intentional to create a healthy work culture.

  4. I love what Carly said about being a leader, a leader is someone who serves. As a leader, how do you support your employees?

  5. Reach out to customers and listen to their suggestions. You can also observe responsiveness to your ideas on social media or your website to help you gauge what’s really resonating with your customer base.

  6. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone. It can feel uncomfortable sometimes facing the unknown and our fears, but learning how to be ok and be uncomfortable is part of figuring life out.
