Show Notes

  1. You can expand your dried offerings to include custom displays for shops, restaurants, or even personalized home decor.

  2. Don’t consider dried flowers as a replacement for fresh flowers.  They’re an additional offering especially when the local growing season comes to an end.

  3. It’s ok to charge more for dried flowers.  They require extra time, space, and processing to harvest and create high quality dried blooms.

  4. Usually dried flowers are smaller because they shrink during the drying process.  So don’t forget that designs will probably require more flowers than their fresh counterparts.

  5. You can have a lot of fun creating and experimenting with dried flowers.  Try working with them, you may find an entirely new medium to create in and you can become more confident working with them.

  6. Lastly, Know the why for your business.  It will help you create boundaries for your business, stay focused on your goals, and help you with your branding and marketing, benefiting your family and your own well being.
