Jenn Sanchez

Jenn is located in Oxnard, California producing work from her home studio as well as taking jobs on the road to destination events, photoshoots, and workshops across the country and around the world. Drawn to curious flowers and foliages, she sources from an array of unexpected places to achieve her imagined designs. Farmers market fruits as edible accompaniments to centerpieces, overgrown forgotten grasses in back alleyways, and trimmings from her home garden that add just the thing to make the bridal bouquet sing. Great pride is taken in the creativity and care invested in each client from initial correspondence to our works conclusion. In her 8 years of business Jenn has had the honor of being featured in/working alongside:

  1. You don’t have to quit your job to start your floral business. You can start both floral design businesses and flower farming business as a side hustle. Just remember to keep your pricing in line with the market prices. It will help when you transition to full time.

  2. Remember that setting boundaries is huge! It’s imperative to take time for yourself and step away from your business, don’t forget to value your personal time.

  3. When making a proposal with a bride or client you don’t have to commit to specific flower varieties. You can discuss why that’s important, giving yourself more freedom and less stress.

  4. I loved our chat about perception vs reality on instagram. IG doesn’t determine your success. You don’t owe it to people to be something you’re not comfortable with.

  5. One great marketing tool is your enthusiasm about your flowers and what you create with them.

  6. You can’t manage what other people do. You have to let go and don’t forget to have grace with yourself.
