The Flower Farm Collective is a new and exciting digital platform that connects local flower growers with buyers within Australia.

We are passionate about supporting local Australian businesses and doing our bit to see the flower industry thrive across our beautiful country.

Our aim is to modernise the Australian flower industry by offering an interactive platform that connects flower growers and buyers, to build strong and successful relationships and help local businesses flourish along with building a positive community where we share knowledge, inspire and encourage.

Show Notes

  1. It’s important to understand all of the value of sourcing locally grown flowers. Obviously there’s environmental impact, but don’t forget freshness of the flowers. providing a larger variety of blooms, and the connection within the community

  2. Know your worth. Don’t be afraid to charge what you’re worth and what the flowers are worth.

  3. For our flower farmers out there, don’t forget there are incredible foliages that you can grow that floral designers would love to use.

  4. Be kind, you may not know what the other person has gone through.  Think before you type something harsh.

  5. If you’re a florist, sharing the stories about the local growers that produce your blooms can help your customers connect with your business and the growers of your flowers, helping to build community.

  6. Now more than ever we need to support one another.
