Nicole Pitt
Flower Hill Farm
Nicole Pitt grows cut flowers and vegetables in Upstate New York, a tiny little village called Boonville. In 2018 Nicole returned to Boonville to buy back her childhood home. It was that summer that she planted her first bulbs on the property and knew the entire property was destined to be full of flowers.
Before farming, Nicole was a dedicated television journalist telling the stories of her community for more than a dozen years. It was her experience creating stories for the news that led her to start telling her own story on YouTube documenting all of the successes and failures of the farm. It wasn’t long before the channel started to gain a following. Now, tens of thousands of others are sharing their experiences with cut flowers and farm life.
Nicole is extremely passionate about helping her small town and bringing in tourism whenever she can. In 2022 Nicole, purchased her hometown garden center. It was in desperate need of renovation and it’s a project her entire family has taken on. Now the garden center is a tourist destination, bringing people in from all over the country in Canada to see the renovations for themselves.
In January 2025, Nicole launched the flower Hill Farm seed shop. The launch was a tremendous success offering small quantities of cut flower seeds at reasonable prices for gardeners who want to try many different varieties on a budget.
Nicole has been married to an amazing man named Brad Pitt (yes his name is actually Brad Pitt),for nearly 20 years. Nicole and Brad have a son and daughter both in their teenage years as well as chickens, quail cats, dogs, and a couple of brand new rabbits. The farm is in a constant state of expansion and change. Nicole vows to make 2025 her best cut flower year yet.
